Out of all the flashes I've watched on newgrounds this is the only flash that keeps me laughing. It's been like a week or something and I've seen each of the flashes at least 2 times. Shared it with some buddies and they thought it was great. The graphics really add on to the comical value of the flash itself. I can't wait for the next part.

I played and finished number 1 and I can't wait to get number 2. But as a flash well..it's graphics are ok but the general gameplay is horrible. Then again it's a preview..( a horrible preview ).
The wall paper kinda spoils the game a bit though..

Great if you wanna have a little flash movie/ story.
Though..It didn't scare me at all.
I'm guessing it appealed to the younger audiences because of that fact that you were in the dark..you had a flashlight...there was blood around..and monsters would get you.
It doesn't seem particularly scary for normal people but I guess if you were squeamish or something you would be scared.
Anyways the graphics were great for the 2d plane. Err..2d aerial view. But yeah.
The plot was a little uncanny. I mean..lol you brought someone into a dark cave for their birthday and...SURPRISE! IT'S A CAVE OF DEATH!! YEAAAHHh!!!!
Though what I thought was interesting was the last of the monsters you encountered. Great voice whoever did it.
Even with a bleak or somewhat critical review I too also look forward to a sequel. If you really want to increase suspense and horror value you might want to add onto psychological trauma through better images.Lol..not that you'd want to traumatize anyone..but the dead body..eh...kinda played out.
Silence works great in certain points. The looping music was alright..but it kinda ruins it since it goes..on..and on...
But anyways the major good points of this flash is one, the characters, two, the voice quality, three the sort of interesting use of flashlight in the dark game play, and 4 the overall interesting plot that's yet to unfold.
Elaborate on the sprites as well as that giant brown creature and your set.
Haha..kinda reminds me of flood almost. You know..with grave mind..and stuff..but other than that this is a decent game. It's not exceptional in any fields of game play other than the fact that the graphics were decent and the characters/ voice acting was great.

Keep it up.
Since you seem to be hitting something on the dot I guess you should keep it up the way you are now, but if you wanna appeal to older audiences..well you'll have to do way better than that. ( Don't bother since your already doing great with younger audiences )

You mauled this song. You completely removed it's calming ambiance. A replaced it with some Hospital waiting room song lol. I dunno bout everyone else but compared to the original this is bad.

I dunno..Your beginning fits what you seem to want it to be but it's loses heat as it progresses. I just don't think it's exciting enough to be a fight sequence. Maybe if it was like a montage.
